Job Description: HVAC Installer
We are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Installer to join our team at Elliott Supply and Glass Inc. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and assessments to determine the best installation approach for each project
- Install HVAC systems according to safety and quality standards, codes, and regulations
- Connect and test electrical systems, refrigerant lines, ventilation systems and ductwork
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Communicate with customers to answer any questions and provide technical assistance
- Maintain accurate documentation of all tasks performed and parts used
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC installation or maintenance
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces
