Job Description: HVAC Service Technician

Ted Cook Heating Service, a family-owned company, is hiring a motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. As a HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all types of HVAC systems for our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems for residential and commercial customers
- Repair or replace faulty parts and/or components
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning and calibration
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing detailed explanations of needed repairs
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service calls
- Maintain effective record keeping of work performed and parts used
- Continuously stay up-to-date with training and education on new technologies and techniques
- Comply with all safety procedures and regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC repair, installation, and maintenance
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must have own tools
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- EPA certification preferred
