Assistant Nursing Home Administrator

Arbutus Park Manor, a skilled nursing facility consisting of 141 skilled beds, 35 personal care beds, and a very large independent living population, is seeking candidates interested in the full-time, exempt position of Assistant Administrator.

This position will assist the Administrator in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and directing the daily functions of the facility. They will be responsible for maintaining a budget for assigned areas and supervising, directing, and coordinating functions of departments to assure that the highest degree of quality care is consistently provided to the residents in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

Thorough knowledge of federal & state long-term care regulations
Knowledge of nursing home reimbursement and billing procedures
Experience in supervision and working knowledge in managing budgets, human resources, staff training and development, marketing and community relations, strategic planning, training, capital improvements, and handling costs
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Nursing Home Administrator License in the state of PA, or be willing to obtain within a given period of time
Proficient computer skills, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills
