Are you an experienced HVAC Service Technician looking for a challenging and rewarding position? Look no further than Smiley's Heating and Cooling. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an HVAC Service Technician in Portsmouth, Virginia.
As an HVAC Service Technician at our company, you will be responsible for performing installations, repairs, and maintenance on residential and commercial heating and cooling systems. You will work with a team of like-minded professionals to deliver exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations. Your focus will be on diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC systems, communicating solutions to customers, and performing necessary repairs quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, air conditioning, and ventilation.
- Conduct tests on systems and components to identify issues and develop solutions for prompt repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for customers and internal tracking purposes.
- Communicate effectively with customers to diagnose issues and provide options for repairs.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency services as required.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, HVAC certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC service
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Strong technical skills and troubleshooting abilities
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
