Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Alpha Heating & Air in Roseburg, Oregon. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance for our clients.
You will be working with a team of professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional service and quality workmanship. You will be required to communicate effectively with customers, explaining technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Responsibilities:
• Inspect HVAC systems for proper functioning and diagnose issues
• Repair or replace defective equipment, parts, or wiring
• Test HVAC systems to ensure they are in proper working condition
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity
• Respond to emergency repair requests promptly and perform repairs as needed
• Educate clients on maintenance and care of their HVAC systems
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an HVAC program or relevant experience
• Certification or license to work with refrigerants
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license
