Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Dale Coates A/C & Heating is looking for an experienced, reliable and customer-oriented HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Big Spring, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing and maintaining HVAC equipment used in residential and commercial settings. You will work closely with our clients to ensure that their HVAC systems are operating effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
-Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment such as air conditioning units, heating systems, ventilation, and refrigeration systems
-Install new HVAC units and make recommendations on upgrades or replacement units
-Conduct system testing and diagnose malfunctions using tools and technology to isolate the issue
-Suggest and implement solutions to improve system performance and energy efficiency
-Communicate with clients to explain repairs and answer any questions they may have
-Adhere to safety guidelines and follow company policies and procedures at all times
-Complete required paperwork, including service reports and equipment installation records
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification or associate's degree considered a plus
-Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician with knowledge of all systems and equipment
-Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
-Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
