Howald Heating and Air Conditioning is currently seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a reputable heating and cooling company, we provide high-quality services to our residential and commercial customers. Our ideal candidate will be customer-focused, possess excellent technical skills, and have a passion for delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting routine maintenance tasks on residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment malfunctions
• Responding to emergency services calls in a timely and professional manner
• Installing, configuring, and testing new HVAC systems and components
• Accurately recording job details on service tickets and in system records
• Maintaining company tools and equipment
• Communicating with customers and providing recommendations for HVAC systems improvements
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant technical certification or associate degree in HVAC systems
• At least 2 years of experience working with HVAC systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on-call and respond to emergency services calls
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and work in confined spaces
