We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Germantown Maryland. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various HVAC systems. You will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance and maximum efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
- Install new heating and cooling systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Identify potential issues and make recommendations to improve system performance
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and training
- Respond to emergency repair calls after hours, when required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a HVAC Service Technician
- Experience with commercial and residential HVAC systems
- Knowledge of electrical and refrigerant principles
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must possess your own tools
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- EPA certification preferred, but not required
- Willingness to work overtime and on-call shifts, when required
