Job Summary The Senior Director, Nonprofit and Civic Engagement Programs, is a senior member of the Rustandy staff, working to ensure that a long-term strategy and diverse set of programs and initiatives are designed and executed to successfully reach the center\'s mission. As the contours of the social sector expand, so too have the Center\'s programs. To forge strategic synergies among the suite of programs that engage with external nonprofits and government organizations, we seek a strategic leader who can look across and identify opportunities to deliver meaning and richness to the Center\'s stakeholders, including but not limited to the Office of Civic Engagement, Harris, Crown, Urban Labs, and more. This role will encompass leadership of nonprofit, civic engagement, and career programming for Booth students and alumni, coupled with oversight of externally facing, global NGO/nonprofit programs in strategic geographies where Booth has campuses, including Chicago\'s Golub Capital Social Impact Lab and Hong Kong\'s, Hong Kong Jockey Club Programme on Social Innovation. Responsibilities Provides strategic direction and oversight that balances nonprofit capacity-building and student and alumni development opportunities. Develops and leads strategic outreach to nonprofit organizations to grow the pipeline of students from these sectors, increase the number of nonprofits aware of and engaged with the Rustandy Center\'s capacity-building resources both to provide those resources and enhance student learning. Capacity-building programs include and are not limited, to Board Fellows, Alumni Board Connect, Golub Capital Social Impact Lab - IGNITE and annual lecture, public programs and events the Hong Kong Jockey Club Programme on Social Innovation Partners with Marketing and program leads on strategy that reflects a comprehensive view of program offerings across the Center. Enables students to explore many possibilities for engaging in the social sector, including via experiential learning, skills-based volunteer opportunities, and effor s to pursue social sector careers. Oversees growth of Board Fellows, Civic Engagement programs, career-related programs in philanthropy, government, nonprofit leadership, and beyond. Leads strategy for and relationships with executives in residence in these areas by recruiting and leading these relationships, including identifying new areas in which expertise is required. Equips alumni with opportunities to contribute to the nonprofit sector via nonprofit board service and through careers. Continues to broaden reach using virtual and hybrid programming. Identifies new opportunities to help those working in the sector - both paid and unpaid - to continue to advance their efforts using Booth resources and network. Advances efforts to attract social sector leaders to Chicago Booth\'s degree programs through leadership of Civic Scholars. Leads strategy for scholarship support for social sector leaders at Booth. Leads programming for Civic Scholars, and serves as point of contact for Civic Scholars across the school, including to students and colleagues in Admissions, Student Life, and Financial Aid. Builds and maintains alumni network. Delivers leadership opportunities to students via oversight of Booth\'s role in UChicago Obama Foundation Scholar
