Job Description

We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to the overall well-being of our residents and staff members.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine cleaning tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
• Disinfecting and sanitizing high-touch surfaces, including doorknobs, handrails, and light switches
• Collecting and disposing of trash and recyclables
• Restocking supplies in resident rooms and common areas
• Assisting with laundry and linen care
• Following established protocols for infection control and safety
• Notifying supervisor of any maintenance or repair needs

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, their families, and staff members
• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as bending, stooping, lifting, and walking for extended periods
