Job Description

As a Dietary Aide at The Pines At Philadelphia Rehab And Healthcare Ctr, you will play a crucial role in providing nutritional support to our patients. Your main responsibility will be to assist with meal preparation and delivery, ensuring that patients' dietary needs and preferences are met.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals to patients according to their dietary requirements and individualized care plans.
  • Assist with food preparation, including cutting, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
  • Adhere to all food safety guidelines and ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Follow recipes and menu instructions to ensure accurate and consistent meal preparation.
  • Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Assist in the set-up and clean-up of dining areas for meal service.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure smooth operation and effective communication.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in food service or a similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation principles.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
