Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at Loescher Heating
We are looking for an experienced and skilled HVAC Service Technician to join us at Loescher Heating. As a company with over 50 years of experience in the industry, we pride ourselves on providing reliable and personalized home comfort and commercial HVAC services to our clients.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks on heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. You will work closely with our clients to diagnose problems, make recommendations, and provide timely solutions to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions and defects
- Install new HVAC systems and components
- Perform safety inspections and testing
- Communicate with clients and provide recommendations for optimal system performance
- Keep accurate records of service history, reports, and maintenance logs
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and practices
- Participate in training and certification programs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years HVAC service experience, preferably with commercial and residential systems
- Knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- EPA certification required, NATE certification a plus
- Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends as needed
