Job Description

We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Laundry Attendant. As a Laundry Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of all linens and garments, contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments according to established procedures and guidelines
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols
• Inspect items for damages or stains and report any findings to the supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
• Assist with inventory control and stock management
• Adhere to infection control and hygiene standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing and delivery of clean laundry
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and order
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads
