Job Description
We are currently seeking a hardworking and dedicated Laundry Worker to join our team at Diversicare Of Tylertown. As a Laundry Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.
Your Responsibilities:
- Sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and clothing according to established procedures
- Operating and maintaining laundry equipment
- Inspecting items for damage or stains and reporting any issues to the supervisor
- Ensuring proper storage and organization of clean linens and clothing
- Adhering to infection control and safety protocols
Your Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
