Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at Viccarone Heating & A/C
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Viccarone Heating & A/C. As a women-owned, full-service mechanical contractor, we provide a comprehensive range of HVAC, Sheet Metal Duct, Piping, Plumbing, Medical Gas, fabrication, BIM and 3D detailing services to clients in Central and South Texas. As a HVAC Service Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent service to our clients by installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. You will work closely with clients to determine their needs, offer solutions and provide technical expertise on all HVAC matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, maintain and troubleshoot heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
- Work with clients to determine their HVAC needs and offer appropriate solutions
- Provide technical expertise on all HVAC matters
- Ensure adherence to safety rules and regulations
- Maintain inventory of equipment, parts and supplies
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of HVAC trade school program or apprenticeship preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a HVAC Service Technician
- Must be certified or licensed to work with refrigerants
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and components
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Must possess valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
