Role Overview

As the Activities Director at Sundance Inn, you will play a vital role in creating and implementing engaging programs and activities for our residents. You will have the unique opportunity to enhance their quality of life and foster a sense of community within our Health Center.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and coordinating a diverse range of recreational, social, and educational programs for our residents.
• Collaborating with staff members to identify individual resident needs and preferences, creating personalized activity plans.
• Ensuring activities comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Managing and maintaining activity equipment and supplies.
• Encouraging resident participation and engagement in activities.
• Creating a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating environment for residents.
• Building relationships with residents, their families, and staff members.
• Assisting with planning and organizing special events and outings.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Prior experience in planning and executing activities for senior residents.
• A genuine passion for working with the elderly and a deep understanding of their unique needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of residents.
• Proficient computer skills for activity planning and documentation.
