Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This role is an integral part of our healthcare team, responsible for assessing and providing nursing care for our residents. The LVN will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the well-being and comfort of our residents.
Responsibilities
As an LVN at Canyon Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, your duties will include:
- Collaborating with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals in developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and documenting residents' vital signs, symptoms, and overall health
- Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Providing emotional support and counseling to residents and their families
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
