Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Crocker Heating & Air is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team at our Ocean Springs, Mississippi location. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems for both residential and commercial customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, refrigeration, and ventilation
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with HVAC systems and develop solutions to resolve them
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and ensure they are operating efficiently
- Communicate with customers to explain repair options and answer any questions they may have
- Keep accurate records of service calls, including labor and materials used
- Work in compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
- Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on new equipment and technologies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Certification from an accredited HVAC program preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of HVAC codes and regulations
