Events & Programs Specialist - Assisted Living

Who are We?
Twin Towers is a faith-based, mission-driven non-profit that is part of an integrated family of lifestyle communities, Life Enriching Communities.
Location: Twin Towers, 5343 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45224
Shifts Available: Full Time - 8 hours per day, Monday - Friday (9am - 5:30pm) with start and end time varying based on events & programs scheduled. Some weekend and holiday work will be required for special events.
Position Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate in the English language.
• High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience in social or recreational programming in a senior living setting preferred.
• Possess or have the ability to obtain, within designated timeframe, certification of Therapeutic Recreational Specialist, if working in long term care.
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of USI software preferred.
• Demonstrated creativity.

Here’s what you can expect:
To work with a variety of people who treat others with respect and compassion. Here’s what you’re responsible for:

• Engages residents in planning creative community events and programs of interest to residents and families.
• Coordinates equipment, materials and volunteers to ensure event success.
• Prepares activity assessments and MDS for each resident, if required by regulations.
• Coordinates volunteers for events. Leads volunteers during events.
• Completes participation records and quarterly progress notes.
• Available to occasionally work evenings, weekends and/or holidays as events dictate.
