We are currently seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Environmental Services - Housekeeping, available in both full-time and part-time capacities.
As a member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, their families, and our staff. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness will directly contribute to the overall well-being of our community.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of our facility, including resident rooms, common areas, and administrative spaces.
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to uphold a pristine appearance.
- Sanitizing surfaces and high-touch areas, such as doorknobs, handrails, and bathroom fixtures, to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
- Emptying trash and disposing of waste in accordance with proper protocols.
- Restocking essential supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and towels, to ensure availability for residents and staff.
- Handling and laundering linens and resident laundry with care and attention.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues to maintain a well-coordinated and efficient housekeeping operation.
- Adhering to safety protocols, including the proper use of protective equipment and handling of cleaning agents.
- Reporting any maintenance concerns or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or environmental services is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training and guidance.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- A positive and friendly demeanor, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
