Job Description


Autumn Care Of Chesapeake, a leading healthcare facility, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Floor Tech to join our team. As a Floor Tech, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facility. This is a full-time position with weekly pay.


Responsibilities:


- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure a clean and pleasant environment

- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly

- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures

- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and equipment

- Assist with moving furniture and setting up rooms for meetings or events

- Follow established safety procedures and infection control protocols

- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor of low stock


Qualifications:


- Previous experience in janitorial or housekeeping role preferred

- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects

- Knowledge of infection control practices and safety standards
