Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Home Comfort Experts, a leading name in the HVAC industry, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Mishawaka, Indiana. We are looking for an individual who has a strong passion for providing excellent customer service, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair all types of HVAC systems for residential and commercial clients. We are looking for a tech-savvy individual who can effectively communicate with clients, understand their repair needs and provide recommendations in a clear, concise and friendly manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems
• Repair, replace or service HVAC equipment such as air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, etc.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure the efficient operation of HVAC systems
• Keep accurate records of all service-related activities performed
• Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction is achieved at all times
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines in accordance with company policies and regulations
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Technical training in HVAC field or equivalent experience
• Must hold current EPA certification
• Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to work flexible hours and participate in an on-call schedule
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders and work in confined spaces
