Job Description

Spa SLC in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Med Spa Assistant/Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis, with an hourly pay rate of $20 - $21.

  • Provide high energy, pleasant assistance to physician with her cosmetic practice 1 week per month
  • Oversee the daily operations of a medical office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
  • Manage and maintain patient files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide excellent customer service
  • Supervise front desk activities, including greeting patients, checking them in/out, and handling payments
  • Keep office clean and orderly
  • Review skin care products and make recommendations to clients
  • Maintain knowledge of office equipment and systems, troubleshooting issues as necessary

Requirements

  • Previous experience in medical office management or similar role preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks effectively
  • Proficient in using computers applications and learning office technology
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoys skin care and motivated to learn skin care products
  • Sales ability for skin care products and cosmetic treatments
  • Pleasant and welcoming to patients
  • Flexible, pleasant and helpful to physician

Job Type and Compensation

Part-time position with pay ranging from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, with expected hours of 20 - 40 per week. The ability to commute or relocate to Salt Lake City, UT 84108 is required.

Experience Required

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Computer skills: 1 year (Required)

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
