Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at Dan Inman Electric, Inc.
Join the team at Dan Inman Electric, Inc. and experience the excitement of working with one of the leading innovators in aerospace and defense equipment! We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Athens, Ohio.
As our HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for our clients. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential homes to large commercial buildings, and no two days will be the same.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Conducting service appointments and repairs of HVAC units at both client residences and commercial properties
- Performing preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning and replacing filters
- Responding to emergency repair requests promptly and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out
- Providing excellent customer service and technical support to clients
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of HVAC service technician experience
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and components, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- High school diploma/GED required; completion of HVAC trade school or apprenticeship program preferred
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
