Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
At Stone Cold Heating and Cooling, we offer quality HVAC services to homeowners and businesses in the Troy, Alabama area. We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and replacing various HVAC systems, including heat pumps, air conditioners, and furnaces.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of HVAC systems
- Repair and replace HVAC system components, including compressors, coils, and motors
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues
- Install new HVAC systems in homes and businesses
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all service calls and completed work
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA certification or HVAC license
- 3-5 years of experience in HVAC service and repair
- Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of HVAC systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
