McClelland Air is a leading HVAC company in Chico, California, providing quality HVAC service for over 80 years. We are looking for a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team and help us continue to provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
As an HVAC Service Technician at McClelland Air, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining HVAC systems for commercial and residential clients. You will be the face of our company in the field, providing professional and courteous service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests on HVAC equipment to identify and resolve issues
- Repair or replace HVAC equipment, including air conditioning units, furnaces and heat pumps
- Perform regular maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure its optimal performance
- Communicate with customers to explain issues and provide recommendations
- Estimate costs for repair or replacement of HVAC equipment
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- EPA Certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
