Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Beman's Appliance Service is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Hastings Nebraska. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort and functionality of our clients' homes and businesses.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including changing filters, cleaning coils, and checking refrigerant levels
• Diagnose and repair a range of HVAC issues, including broken parts, electrical problems, and leaks
• Install new HVAC systems and equipment according to company and industry standards
• Educate clients on proper use and maintenance of their HVAC systems
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
• Stay current with industry advancements and participate in ongoing training programs
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment, both old and new
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
