CNA/Med Tech - Rumford Community Home, LTC

Position Summary:

At Central Maine Healthcare, our team members are committed to providing exceptional care and experiences for our community and for each other every day. We are currently seeking a CNA/Med Tech to join our team at Rumford Community Home, a Long Term Care facility in Rumford, Maine. As a Certified Medication Tech, you will be responsible for the medication administration of an assigned nursing home unit.

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant/Medication certification in the state of Maine.
• Must have state-approved 40-hour certified medication administration certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in Long Term Care resident care helpful.
• Ability to maintain a flexible, relaxed attitude in response to difficult situations.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate routine information.
• Must possess willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
• Must have willingness to handle difficult residents.
