Life Care Center of Hixson is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. We are affiliated with Life Care Centers of America, a leading healthcare organization with over 200 locations in the U.S. As a CNA at our facility, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our continued growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
- Deliver direct care to patients including bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment
Qualifications:
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Effective communication and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team
- Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc
