HVAC Service Technician

Location: San Bernardino, California

Ballard Air Conditioning is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will work closely with our customers to diagnose and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. This is a full-time position with benefits and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic tests on heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems
- Repair or replace malfunctioning components such as compressors, motors, and controls
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment and provide customers with recommendations
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of service calls and work performed
- Keep up to date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED (trade school or related certification is a plus)
- 2+ years of related experience in HVAC service
- EPA Universal Certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to diagnose and solve problems efficiently
- Good time management and organizational skills
