Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA at English Oaks, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

- Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.

- Providing emotional support to residents and their families.

- Assisting in the collection of specimens for diagnostic testing.

- Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of residents' rooms and common areas.

- Assisting with meal preparation, feeding, and medication administration as directed by the nursing staff.

- Assisting with transferring and repositioning residents to prevent skin breakdown and other complications.

- Documenting patient care activities and observations accurately and timely.

Qualifications:

- Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and infection control practices.

- Physical stamina and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects or individuals.
