ROLE SUMMARY
A CorePower Yoga (CPY) Lead Instructor is responsible for creating a welcoming environment and supporting growth for students and peers. The role involves enrollment and facilitation of Teacher Training programs, along with teaching CPY aligned classes each week. The Lead Instructor also leads in-market continuing education workshops and special classes, and supports auditions & intensives per the needs of the market. In addition, they provide leadership, support, and guidance to students and studio teams and work cross-functionally with the District Manager, Yoga Programming Team, and virtual Teacher Training Team as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Provide yoga instruction by teaching CorePower Yoga classes, adhering to CPY yoga quality standards
• Actively teach multiple formats as an instructor, maintain 4-6 regularly scheduled classes with a maximum of 10 classes taught a week
• Spearhead enrollment efforts for teacher training programs to meet enrollment benchmarks outlined for each program
• Coordinate and lead facilitation for in-studio teacher training sessions
• Participate in facilitation, coaching, and student mentorship for virtual teacher training sessions as needed

EDUCATION, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Certificate of completion from a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour teacher training program required, 300-hour or 500-hour preferred
• Meets the current Yoga Alliance eligibility criteria to be E-RYT preferred
• Preferred 2+ years of teaching experience with CPY
• Current CPR/AED certification required

COMPENSATION
$17.50 - $34 per hour based on market starting rates and experience, or $2/hour additional hourly rate if current employee
