Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team at Autumn Care Of Chesapeake. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing nutritious and delicious meals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks to residents.
- Ensure meals are served in a timely manner and at the correct temperature.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to maintain consistent food quality.
- Adhere to dietary restrictions and special instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with proper cleaning and sanitization of kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Stock and inventory supplies, notifying management when items need to be replenished.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a dietary role or food service position is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and carry heavy objects throughout the workday.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
