Position: Dietary Cook

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Dietary Cook to join our team. As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, preparing and serving nutritious meals for our residents.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with planned menus and standardized recipes

- Ensure meals are served on time and at the appropriate temperature

- Follow sanitary and food safety practices, maintaining a clean and organized work area

- Collaborate with the dietary team to plan menus and accommodate special dietary needs

- Monitor and maintain inventory of food supplies and communicate any needs to the Dietary Manager

- Assist with meal service, including portioning and serving meals to residents

- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with residents, families, and staff

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a dietary role, preferably in a healthcare setting

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

- Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals according to dietary guidelines

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
