Simpson Heating & Cooling is a trusted provider of HVAC services in New Philadelphia, Ohio. We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team and help us provide high-quality service to our customers.
As an HVAC Service Technician at Simpson Heating & Cooling, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will work independently or with a team, depending on the scope and complexity of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, and ductwork
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues and recommend solutions
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and replacing filters, checking refrigerant levels, and testing electrical components
- Comply with safety regulations and follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members, providing timely updates and recommendations for improvements
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificate or degree in HVAC or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and components, including electrical and refrigeration systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
