Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
We are looking for a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at M.W. Robinson Company. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of HVAC equipment, including air conditioning units, heating systems, furnaces, and refrigeration units. This is a full-time position located in Wooster Ohio.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance on various HVAC systems, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair any issues that arise.
- Respond to customer service calls and ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Produce accurate and detailed reports on all work done, parts used, and time spent working on each project.
- Provide excellent service to all customers while ensuring that all work adheres to safety standards, company standards, and all relevant codes.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced technicians to help them grow in their roles.
- Participate in training and professional development programs to stay up to date on the latest technology and techniques.
Requirements:
- Completion of an HVAC program or certification in HVAC and 3+ years of related experience.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, and electrical principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work on-call shifts and extended hours when needed.
