4-Week Paid CNA Training Course

Are you ready for a unique opportunity to work for Apple Rehab? Join us for our Paid CNA Training classes that are held on a rolling basis, with the next class beginning on June 8th, 2021. During this 4-week course, you will complete classroom hours at our Corporate Office in Avon, CT, and clinical hours at a local Apple Rehab facility. Full-time hours are guaranteed upon course completion, and all training time is paid with mileage reimbursement.

Job Description: Certified Nurse's Assistant (CNA)

As a CNA at Apple Rehab, you will play a vital role in assisting residents with their daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dental care, dressing, and mobility. You will document personal care according to facility policies and provide necessary nursing functions, such as perineal care and measuring vital signs. Additionally, you will observe and report any changes in residents' condition and respond calmly to emergency situations.

Qualifications:

Ability to commute to Avon, CT, and/or clinical site 4 times weekly for 4 weeks
Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
Attention to detail and good follow-through skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Cooperation and teamwork capabilities
Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks
