Position: Activities Assistant-Weekly Pay!

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for our residents. Your passion for enhancing the lives of seniors through meaningful activities will contribute to their overall well-being and happiness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and organizing a variety of recreational activities, including games, crafts, and social events

• Facilitate group activities and encourage resident participation

• Transport residents to and from activities, ensuring their safety and comfort

• Assist with setting up and cleaning activity areas

• Collaborate with other staff members to create engaging and stimulating programs

• Observe and report any changes in resident behavior or condition to the supervisor

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar role or working with seniors is preferred

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Creativity and ability to think outside the box

• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• High school diploma or equivalent
