Job Description: HVAC Installer
We are looking for a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team at Sims Heating & Cooling in Battle Creek, Michigan. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in various residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities:
- Installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment according to company standards and industry regulations
- Completing all necessary electrical and ductwork connections
- Testing installed systems to ensure proper functionality and safety
- Providing exceptional customer service and communicating with clients as necessary
- Keeping accurate records of all work performed
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of HVAC technical training or apprenticeship
- Experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance
- Knowledge of electrical and refrigeration principles
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings as necessary
