Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at Renaud Electric Co.
At Renaud Electric Co., we pride ourselves in delivering quality HVAC services to our clients in Longview, Washington and its environs for over a decade. We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, installing, and diagnosing any HVAC-related issues in commercial and residential buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine maintenance on HVAC systems to identify and prevent any potential issues
- Troubleshooting HVAC equipment to identify the root cause of the problem and advising on their solutions
- Diagnosing and repairing any faults in HVAC systems, including but not limited to motors, wiring, thermostats, and switches
- Ensuring proper refrigerant levels and measuring airflow, temperature, and humidity levels in HVAC systems
- Installing and maintaining HVAC systems in commercial and residential properties
- Follow protocols and safety standards in accordance with Renaud Electric's policies
- Complete job reports, timesheets, and paperwork related to the job in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in commercial and residential HVAC equipment
- EPA Section 608 Certification
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment and current industry developments
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and management
- Time management skills and ability to work independently
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
