ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR - SONORA

Job Summary

Splendido at Rancho Vistoso, a Life Plan Community for those age 55 and better, is seeking a full-time Engagement Coordinator for our Care Center venue in our senior living community. In this role, you will be responsible for creating exceptional experiences for our residents by providing and coordinating a variety of meaningful activities, programs, and social events to help them Age Well. This position supports our residents in Memory Support, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing.

Responsibilities

- Plan and coordinate a diverse range of activities and programs for older adults.

- Lead engaging and interactive classes and programs to foster socialization and active participation.

- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and staff to ensure a positive experience for all.

- Work as part of a team to provide exceptional customer service and support to our residents.

Requirements

- 2 years of experience working with older adults and leading programs or classes.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

- Demonstrated ability to be a reliable team member with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Must be fully vaccinated.

Preferred Qualifications

- College degree

- 36 or 42 hour Activity Directors Course

- Experience with Music, Art, or Therapeutic Recreation

- Computer experience

Schedule

This is a full-time position primarily scheduled Monday through Friday. Availability on some holidays and weekends may also be needed.
