Resident Assistant (RA) Job Description

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Resident Assistants (RAs). In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by providing assistance with daily tasks and promoting their overall well-being.

As a Resident Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Providing support and companionship to residents.
• Helping with meal preparation and serving.
• Assisting with medication administration under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Monitoring and documenting changes in residents' physical and emotional well-being.
• Ensuring resident safety and following all established protocols and procedures.
• Engaging residents in social and recreational activities.
• Maintaining clean and organized living spaces for residents.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
• Compassionate and caring nature.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Familiarity with basic medical terminology and procedures.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Dependability and punctuality.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
