Welder Fabricator

Job Title: Welder Job Description Responsible for layout and fabrication of stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals. Cut and weld steel, aluminum, and stainless steel as well as read blueprints. The position will also require some knowledge of various tools for fabrication and layout. Operate cold saw, band saw, pipe notcher, and grinder. Mig, tig, and stick weld. Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools. Hard Skills Layout and fabrication of stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals Cutting and welding steel, aluminum, and stainless steel Reading blueprints Operating cold saw, band saw, pipe notcher, and grinder MIG, TIG and Stick welding Operating a 5-ton overhead crane Using tape measures and hand tools Basic mathematics and geometry Soft Skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while exercising sound judgment Adaptability to a rapidly-changing schedule Ability to switch from job to job Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).
