CNA - Weekend only Program

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our Weekend Only Program. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents' daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and continence care.

• Support residents' mobility and transfers, ensuring proper body mechanics and utilizing assistive devices as needed.

• Assist with medication administration, observing and documenting residents' responses and reporting any concerns to nursing staff.

• Monitor and document residents' vital signs, reporting any changes or abnormalities to nursing staff.

• Engage with residents in meaningful activities, promoting socialization and emotional well-being.

• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents, including the proper handling and disposal of waste and soiled linens.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans that meet residents' individual needs.

• Provide emotional support and actively listen to residents' concerns, offering reassurance and companionship.

• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, following established procedures and utilizing personal protective equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred.

• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.

• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
