Seeking Compassionate Resident Caregiver

Stone Oak Care Center is currently seeking a compassionate Resident Caregiver to join our team in the Stone Oak San Antonio area. As a Resident Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and assistance to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help residents with mobility and transferring, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Administer medications and assist with medication management, following established protocols.
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and any changes in residents' conditions.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe living environment for residents.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote their physical and mental well-being.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care for residents.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a caregiver in a healthcare or assisted living setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications are required (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
