The Administrator in Training at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation makes a difference by assisting the Executive Director with the day-to-day administration of the facility. Responsibilities include working on special projects, striving to achieve excellence in resident/patient care, ensuring high employee retention, and actively participating in the local community. The position involves performing regular rounds to monitor the delivery of nursing care, operation of support departments, cleanliness and appearance of the facility, staff morale, and patient/resident needs. Additionally, the Administrator in Training will review financial reports and assist department heads with other projects as assigned, all while following state guidelines for the AIT program to fulfill requirements for licensure and reporting.

The ideal candidate must exhibit positive customer service to both internal and external customers and be a skilled communicator, director, and motivator. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field, 2+ years of skilled nursing experience in a management role, stable work history, dedication, commitment, and the ability to maintain positive employee and community relationships. The candidate should also demonstrate a superior customer service skillset and the ability to follow all applicable policies, procedures, federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations related to long-term care facilities. Additionally, the Administrator in Training must be willing to travel to other locations for training and special projects and relocate within the state after the license is granted and a position is available.
