Job Summary:
Lovington Healthcare in Lovington, NM is seeking a dedicated and professional part-time Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist will be responsible for interpreting company policies and employment law, assisting with recruiting and developing talent, and coordinating between all departments. The ideal candidate will have skills in auditing and compliance, as well as excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Possess effective communication skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, and governmental agencies
Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet new residents, explaining facility services such as telephone, cable, dietary preferences, laundry, and activities
- Resolve customer requests, questions, and complaints, providing information to improve customer service
- Serve as a liaison between residents and other departments
- Conduct inquiries on customer satisfaction and report information using recommended tools and forms
- Identify, research, and resolve customer concerns, reporting trends to Quality Assurance Committee
- Coordinate discharge planning with residents, families, rehab, nursing, and referrals to agencies
- Serve as a role model to foster superb customer service
- Assist in ensuring adherence to Federal and State regulations, participating in the survey process and the correction of deficiencies
- Complete clerical work for administrative and facility personnel, including mail handling, transcribing materials, recording appointments and meetings, filing necessary documents, answering telephone calls, and referring callers to the correct station
- Alert specified individuals and agencies in case of emergencies
- Update resident directory, including names, room locations, and telephone extensions
- Arrange for the service of office equipment
- Perform other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned by supervisor, including petty cash handling, AR/collections, resident trust fund management, and renewals
- Support business office functions as needed, including receiving payments, distributing petty cash, preparing receipts, and passing out and collecting employment applications
