What You Will Do:
The Manager Behavioral Health Integration will provide operations, planning, facilitation, and clinical oversight over the integration of the Behavioral Health Services within Valley Health to include the SBIRT Program, Collaborative Care Program, Crisis Receiving Center programming, and behavioral health grant funded program opportunities. The Manager will facilitate and manage the expansion of the SBIRT program and the Collaborative Care Program into targeted VH facilities/departments and into VH affiliated clinics/physician practices. The Manager provides direct supervision to a team of Behavioral Health Clinicians and the Perinatal Behavioral Health Liaison and will demonstrate leadership, professional ethics, and ensure quality service delivery based on organizational and regulatory policies and procedures. In addition, the Manager will collaborate with a team of professionals including administrators, physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, therapists, and clinic staff to enhance the integration of substance use and mental health treatment within VH and community. As a part of collaboration, the Manager will also participate in Crisis Intervention Training as a CIT presenter and trainer. Once eligible, the Manager may also be responsible for supervision of residents under the Virginia Board of Counseling and Social Work. The Manager will assist the Behavioral Health Clinicians in assessing patients and providing brief interventions, brief therapy, and referrals to treatment in all departments/clinics which provide SBIRT services. The Manager will ensure the effective implementation of the VH mission and health care goals of collaboration and integration.
What You Will Bring:
Education
Masters Behavioral Health Field required
Experience
Three years behavioral health, mental health, and substance use treatment experience required
One year supervisory experience required
Experience working with electronic health records preferred
Certification & Licensures
Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Psychologist required
CAADC certification preferred
Qualifications
Prior academic or practical training in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, or brief therapy/crisis intervention required
Demonstrated strengths of personal integrity, self-confidence required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills require
