Position: LVN LPN
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. As an LVN/LPN at Diversicare of Tylertown, your role will be integral in delivering exceptional nursing care and providing support to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor, record, and report changes in residents' conditions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
- Assist with residents' activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals effectively
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current LVN or LPN license
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and standards of care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing quality care
