HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Alber's Inc, a leading provider of HVAC solutions in Baldwin Park, California. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality repair and maintenance services to HVAC equipment at commercial and residential properties.

As an HVAC Service Technician, your main responsibilities will include performing installations, inspections, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC systems. You will also be responsible for testing and diagnosing any issues with these systems, making necessary repairs, replacing parts or equipment, and ensuring they are functional before leaving a customer's site.

You must possess a strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their components, as well as experience in diagnosing and repairing these systems. You must also be able to work independently and communicate effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met.

Responsibilities:

- Perform installations, inspections, repairs, and maintenance on HVAC systems for commercial and residential properties
- Test and diagnose issues with HVAC systems and determine the best course of action for repair
- Replace parts or equipment as needed, ensuring the system is functional before leaving the site
- Develop service reports and maintain accurate records of all service activities
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure their needs and expectations are met
- Keep up-to-date with current technologies and changes in the industry
- Support team members with technical expertise and guidance

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience performing HVAC repairs, installations, and maintenance
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems and components, including boilers, furnaces, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using hand and power tools to perform repairs and installations
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers
- High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
